Digital temperatre switch using a wired remote sensor. The sensor is on approximately 3 feet of wire and is placed in the cage or area you wish to control the temperature.

Set either heating or cooling mode. In heating mode the power comes on when the temperature drops below your setting, in cooling mode the power comes on when the temperature rises above your setting..

Plugs into a standard US outlet and switches up to 15 amps to fans or warm air heaters. Heavy duty relays used rated at 4.5 times the maximum load to ensure clean safe switching.

Independant settings for temperature calibration, on and off temperatures and on/off delay or hysteresis. Settings saved internally even after power interruption.

An overide switch allows to switch from permanently on to temperature controlled. As well as an LED on the digital controller a bright neon shows when power is on, visible from a considerable distance away.

**The temperature sensor is and its wire are electrically isolated and low voltage therefore safe from electrical shock however they must be installed completely inaccessible to the animals so they cannot chew on the wires or sensor.

We use a PVC pipe with holes to expose the sensor to the surround ing air in the cage but can’t be accessed by the animals.
